You may recall that my office in located in a historic building in downtown Romeo, Michigan. I purchased the building 31/2 years ago and envisioned restoring the building back to its original architectural design. The building was originally constructed in 1869 and I completed the interior remodeling approximately 2 years ago. The office consists of an openbay concept with 7 chairs and two additional chairs in each examination/consultation room. I now have approximately 3,800 square feet of office space with a full basement below which we utilized for storage, staff lounge, and laboratory. I am now in the process of restoring the exterior of the building to appear as it did back in 1869. I am sending you some photos (4) of the building exterior to show Alumni and friends the huge task I have undertaken. As you can see from the original picture (1869) the building had a beautiful archway located across the front. My goal is to replace the archway and stained glass in the upper portion of the archway. Contractors are presently in the process of removing the several layers of paint which have been applied to the building over the last 137 years, and exposing the ornate masonry work.
I am grateful for my education I received at Temple and I'm blessed to have a very successful practice in the quaint historic town of Romeo! Mike Kehoe
